Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Browseit ("Browseit", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address to create and identify your account.
  • Usage data. We record how you use the Service, including sessions, tasks, browser-minutes, and AI token usage, so we can meter, bill, and operate the Service.
  • Content you submit. The URLs, instructions, and data schemas you send are processed to carry out your requests. Data your automation reads from web pages is returned to you and used to fulfill the task.
  • Communications. If you contact us or request access, we keep your message and contact details to respond.
  • Technical data. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the Service.
  • To meter usage and enforce plan limits, and to bill you.
  • To communicate with you about your account, access, and updates.
  • To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and technical issues.
  • To improve the Service.

3. AI processing

To carry out a task, the instructions you provide and relevant page content are sent to a third-party AI model provider that generates the browser actions or extracted data. We do not use your task content to train our own models. Usage against your account is metered and capped by your plan.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling necessary cookies may break sign-in.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service (cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, email delivery, and payment processing), under agreements that limit their use of the data.
  • Legal requirements, when we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.

6. Data isolation and retention

Each live browser session runs in an isolated, single-tenant environment and its disk is wiped when the session is released. We retain account and usage records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and security purposes, then delete or anonymize them. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, access controls, and per-tenant isolation to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and, where appropriate, notify you.
